Please review the by-laws. The Board will lead a re-envisioning of our mission and update of by-laws before the end of the academic year.

Principal’s Report by Cheryl Fralick

PAN on April 19
SC Ready is the new standardized test. School is preparing our students for the test but, this year is just practice. District had the opportunity to take the test on the computer/online or with pencil and paper. School chose not to do online test to prevent undue stress as all the bugs are worked out. Must take online next year. Will have to teach how to use highlighter and calculator on screen.

Writing strategic plan – required to write a literacy plan.

New Business/President’s Report                                                      

·         Usborne Books – perhaps at marketplace at HnH, but too many families selling to choose just one rep to support as a fundraiser.

·         Elections – Nominations for chairs are open. If you are interested in staying on as a chair or wish to self-nominate, please visit ___ to express your interest.

Concern with May 13 movie night and May 19 spring concert…should be ok to do both.  Been in touch with Alisha about VolunteerSpot.

Bonus sheet out April 1, promotion for up to 500 extra points for beautification,

Silent Auction – not this year; maybe separate thing (Great Wolf Lodge and WDW alternate) Group to go Midway, Melanie’s mom did one and will get us details on how long it takes to get it running. Storage?
Games – Carey & Melissia (ring toss, cornhole, facepaint, tattoos, tug-o-war rope, Coach Williams already has field day stuff – burlap sacks/pillow case)
Need more food vendors, Maybe Hudson’s (Cheryl will ask Angie), perhaps add TCBY (250)? Last resort sell popcorn or cotton candy.
Midway will let us use tables again
Riverbluff Cheerleaders are coming!
Middle School Cheerleaders – cheer clinic every 30 minutes. Make them a sign or ask what supplies they may need.
Beta club is doing facepainting.
Will have laminated maps.
Two welcome tables – one at front and one at back.

Walk through April 25 at 7:30am – All volunteers invited
